BFF Chinchillas is a project of merging two herds extending back to 2019. Our two original herds are ABC chinchillas (Illinois, brand MABC) and RDZC Ranch (Washington, brand RDZC) that each have over 20 years of experience raising, breeding, and showing chinchillas. All of our chinchillas are handled regularly from birth by the owners and their children and they are accustomed to the normal noises associated with a home. We produce top show quality, award winning chinchillas to strive for the highest health and the strongest genetic backgrounds, but our primary focus is to produce well adjusted, easy to handle chinchillas for pets to become your new best friend forever. We primarily breed for strong standards (sterling grey), black velvet, ebony, and sapphire but we also produce top quality violet, white, pink white, beige, tan, Royal Persian Angora, and champagne (AKA goldbar or Lowe's recessive white). We are currently working to expand our program to include top quality black pearl and our curly (Locken) program has finally produced our first class champion. With a wide variety to select from and excellent personalities and temperaments selected personally by us for over 8+ generations to harmonize with family life, we are the best stop for finding your future best friend! Our hours of operation are by appointment only. We are home operated facilities and NOT open to the public for visits. This is to ensure the safety of our breeding herds and our families that each have multiple small children.
